Thanks for joining this morning, Doug! Here is a link to the hip flexor pain program I was mentioning. I would recommend starting with the phase 1 exercises for the next couple of weeks. Keep me updated on how your symptoms respond.

Hey buddy! I can’t believe that incision is still bothering you. I would try the median and ulnar nerve mobilizations in this video and see if they reduce your symptoms at all.

So great to meet you this morning, Jo! I’m so excited about our call this morning and the community that is building here on the app!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that took the time to join my first office hours session this morning! It was so great to meet all of you!

Unfortunately, I don't think Zoom was recording. I hit record, but don't see a saved file anywhere. Such a bummer.

I just published my new YouTube video here in the app on nerve symptoms (pain, numbness & tingling) in the hand and fingers. Here is a link for that video, if you are experiencing symptoms like this.

Shafinah Cunningham The drop down menu you found is the same as one of the filter menus. There should be another drop down for conditions.

Shafinah Cunningham I have to add the muscle groups to that drop down list. I will plan to work on building it out more.

I will plan to add a video on that issue to the app soon! Here is one on that topic from my YouTube channel. Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction Exercises

Shafinah Cunningham Sure thing! I’m hoping you also saw my first comment where I said thank you for introducing yourself and I answered your question about filtering by muscle group.

In regards to your clinical question, QL/low back, hip external rotator muscle and sciatica issues occurring together is something I see in the clinic on a fairly regular basis. In my mind, much of this probably has to do with the origin of the sciatic nerve (branches in the lumbar spine) and its path through the posterior hip region. I often find that a combination of spinal facet joint mobilizations, soft tissue work through the lumbar spine (including the QL) and the posterior hip region and exercises (hip and lumbar mobility and nerve mobilizations) help with these symptoms. You might find the exercises in the piriformis/deep gluteal pain syndrome program here in the app to be helpful. Here is a link to that program.

Hi Shaf, It's great to meet you and learn about your clinical background! The combination of massage therapy and personal training is such a good one. I would imagine you are quite similar to me in that I also combine manual therapy and exercise. Thank you for joining my app and community. Also, thank you so much for buying my book and for sharing my work with others. I really appreciate it!

Regarding your questions, if you look at the top of the home page just below the featured section, you will see a search bar on the left and a 'filters' area on the right. If you click on filters, there is an area where you can search by muscle group. I need to build this out more, but this may help with some of your searches. I have attached a screenshot where you can see the filter area across from the search bar.
